Frequently Asked Questions
Most composite door issues — locks, hinges, handles, alignment — can be repaired without replacing the door itself. We offer both repair and full replacement, and will always recommend the most cost-effective option.
A new cylinder is from £156 and a new multipoint lock from £365. Adjusting a dropped door's hinges is covered by our £180 minimum visit charge, and a new door handle is from £101. A new composite door is £1,200 to £2,500 fitted, depending on style and side panels. All prices include VAT, and every visit has a £180 minimum charge. Full prices are in our composite door repair cost guide.
In some cases, individual panels can be replaced if the frame is in good condition. However, due to the solid-core construction of composite doors, panel damage sometimes means full door replacement is the better option. We assess each case individually.
Individual repairs are priced from £30 (misted units from £120). Every job has a £180 minimum charge.
